Notice of Trial Law and Legal Definition
A notice of trial is a formal notification by court informing the parties to a suit of the date on which the lawsuit is set for trial. The court can also instruct one of the parties to give notice to others. When a party to a trial, after the settlement of an issue wishes to bring the case forward for trial at the next term of the court, s/he must give notice of trial to the other party.
